Chrysler OEM Diagnostic Software Installation and Usage Guide

Thank you for purchasing the TOPDON RLink X3. This guide will assist you in performing diagnostics with the device. Please read all instructions carefully before use. Alternatively, you can also visit the website to watch the tutorial video for a step-by-step demonstration.

1. Diagnostic Procedure Overview
To help you clearly understand the diagnostic procedures using RLink X3, the following diagram illustrates the process:
1. Subscribe to, download and install the OEM diagnostic software
2. Download and install the RLink Platform
Launch the RLink Platform
Bind and activate your RLink X3
Download corresponding drivers
Set RLink as the communication interface
3. Connect the RLink X3 to both the vehicle and your PC
4. Launch the OEM diagnostic software
5. Start diagnostics
This guide explains how to purchase, download, install OEM diagnostic software, as well as how to establish the connection and perform diagnostics (steps 1, 3, 4 and 5). For detailed instructions on downloading, installing, and setting up the RLink Platform (step 2), please refer to the RLink X3 Quick User Guide.
2. RLink X3 OEM Diagnostic Software Coverage
RLink X3 supports three vehicle brands: GM, Ford and Chrysler. If you want to check whether a specific OEM diagnostic software is compatible, refer to the coverage table below.

3. Chrysler OEM Diagnostic Software Installation & Usage Instructions
2. Click AFTERMARKET > Register to create an account.
3. Input your email address and click SIGNUP.
4. Check your email box for the confirmation letter and click link.
5. Complete your personal information according to on-screen prompts.
6. Sign in with your newly registered account.
7. Input your address.
Note:
Make sure your address is true and valid to avoid subscription failures.
8. Click Support > Download J2534 Application and Download the Security Utility.
9. Click Download anyway to download thewiTECH2.0.
10. Install the software according to prompts.
11. After Installation, launch the wiTECH2.0, click Help, and copy the Serial Number.
12.Open the web page, click DASHBOARD > REGISTER NEW DEVICE.
13.Choose J2534 Device from the list and paste the serial number in the input box. Click REGISTER.
3.2. Subscription
1. Go back to the web page and click PURCHASE > WITECH 2.0 SUBSCRIPTIONS, and choose a desired option.
2. To program a vehicle's ECU, you need to purchase not only the wiTECH 2.0 Subscription, but also the Tech Authority and ECU Flash Subscriptions.
Note: Please choose subscriptions based on your actual needs
3. After selecting the required subscriptions, navigate to the cart to proceed with payment.
4. Once the purchase is complete, assign the wiTECH 2.0 Subscription. Ensure that the serial number matches the device bound to the computer.
5. Once the subscription is assigned, the usage period starts immediately.
Note:
To avoid unnecessary usage time, assign it only when you're ready to use it.
6. Then assign the Tech Authority Subscription to the registered email address.
7. The ECU Flash Subscription must be assigned before logging into wiTECH 2.0 for ECU programming.
3.3. Perform Diagnostics
IMPORTANT:
Before launching the OEM diagnostic software, ensure that you have downloaded, installed, and launched the RLink Platform, downloaded the Chrysler driver, set RLink as the communication interface, and connected RLink X3 to the vehicle and your PC. For detailed information on these steps, refer to the Quick User Guide included in the package and follow the instructions carefully.
3.3.1. Perform Diagnostics viawiTECH2.0
1. Double click the software shortcut to launch thewiTECH2.0 and enter the diagnostic mode.
Note:
Do not use the web-based version of wiTECH 2.0, as it does not support connections with third-party VCI devices.
3. Log in with the account registered on the Chrysler official website.
4. Select WiTECH2 AM PROD to perform vehicle diagnostics.
